Plain-English terms covering how we sell, ship, and stand behind our pairs.
1. Who we are
Ōdoo Sandals is a small footwear workshop based in Bengaluru, India. By placing an order through this website you agree to the terms below. If you have questions, write to us before checking out.
2. Orders & pricing
Every pair is hand-built to order. Prices and shipping charges are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) at checkout and include applicable taxes. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in cases of obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, or stock unavailability — in which case any payment received is refunded in full.
3. Payment
Payments are processed via UPI directly or through a third-party payment gateway. Where a gateway fee applies, it is shown transparently at checkout before you confirm. We do not store your UPI handle, card details, or any payment credentials on our servers.
4. Shipping & delivery
Preset orders ship from Bengaluru in 3–5 working days. Custom-traced pairs may add 2–3 days for cutting. Estimated delivery dates are best-effort, not guaranteed. Once handed to the courier, tracking details are emailed to you. Risk of loss passes to the buyer once the courier accepts the parcel.
5. Returns & re-sizing
Standard sandals may be returned, unworn and in original condition, within 7 days of delivery for a full refund minus shipping. Custom-traced pairs are made to a single foot outline and are non-returnable, but we offer one free re-sizing if the fit is off — write to us within 7 days of receipt to arrange it.
6. Care & warranty
Sandals are warranted against manufacturing defects for 6 months from the date of delivery. Normal wear (tread thinning, strap fade from sun and use, scuff marks) is not covered. Straps are individually replaceable; soles can be re-cut and re-bonded at the workshop for a service fee.
7. Intellectual property
All images, copy, product designs, and branding on this site are © Ōdoo Sandals. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or use them commercially without written permission.
8. Privacy
We collect only what we need to fulfil your order: name, contact details, shipping address, and order history. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties beyond what is operationally necessary (courier, payment gateway). A full privacy policy will be published separately.
9. Liability
Ōdoo Sandals is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products beyond the price paid for the product itself. Use of barefoot footwear is at your own discretion — if you have a pre-existing foot, ankle, or gait condition, consult a podiatrist before transitioning.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the business grows. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after a change implies acceptance of the revised terms.
