Trace your foot
A made-to-order pair crafted to your foot outline. Ten minutes with an A4 sheet, a pencil, and your phone.
How-to video coming soon — written steps below in the meantime.
You’ll need
- — 1 sheet of plain A4 paper, per foot
- — A sharp pencil (not a marker)
- — A measuring tape or ruler in cm
- — Your phone, for the photo
Total time: 10 minutes
How to trace
- 01
Stand on a flat A4 sheet
Use a hard floor. Stand normally with your full weight on the foot you are tracing. Don’t lift the heel or curl your toes.
- 02
Hold the pencil upright
Keep the pencil perfectly vertical — 90° to the paper, not slanting in. A slanted pencil makes the outline smaller than your foot.
- 03
Trace the full outline
Move slowly around the whole foot, keeping contact with the skin. Trace the heel curve and between each toe if you can.
- 04
Mark the toe-post dot
Mark a small dot between your big toe and second toe — right at the web, where they meet the foot. That tells us where the toe post (V-strap) should sit on your sandal.
- 05
Mark length and ball-width
Draw a straight line from the back of the heel to the tip of the longest toe. Then mark the widest point across the ball of the foot.
- 06
Measure both feet
Feet are rarely identical. Trace both — we cut to the larger of the two unless you tell us otherwise.
- 07
Write the numbers on the sheet
In cm: length (heel → longest toe) and ball-width. Add your name and order date so we don’t mix sheets up.
Photograph the trace
A clean overhead shot of the outlined A4 sheet is all we need. The fewer shadows and the less tilt, the more accurate the cut.
- Place a ruler, inch tape, or credit card flat next to the trace before you shoot — it gives us a scale reference if the print comes through at the wrong size.
- Lay the sheet flat on the floor — no folds, no curl.
- Stand directly above it and shoot straight down. A tilted phone distorts the outline.
- Use daylight or a bright overhead light. Avoid shadows from your hand or phone.
- Crop tight to the A4 edges before uploading.
Send it with your order
During checkout, the wizard’s Size step has an Upload foot trace button. Pick the photo — it attaches to your order automatically and our workshop sees it the moment we start cutting.
Prefer to send the trace separately? Place the order with the size closest to your measurement, then WhatsApp us the photo with your order number. We’ll match it before the sole is cut.
